Welcome! I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University.

My research examines how educational policies and programs shape students’ pathways from K–12 schooling to college and workforce transitions and reshape the public systems that support them. 

Using quantitative methods for causal inference with large-scale administrative data, I investigate both intended and unintended outcomes of educational reforms to inform evidence-based policies that expand long-term opportunities for underrepresented students. 

I am an affiliate of the Labor, Education, and Policy (LEAP) Lab and a recipient of the 2026 AERA–NSF Dissertation Grant and the 2026 Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy Dissertation Award.

I earned my Ph.D. in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment, with a concentration in Education Policy Evaluation, from Boston College. Before my doctoral studies, I worked as a public elementary school teacher in South Korea. I hold a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Seoul National University of Education.
